My real estate career started in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1995 where I took a job in the marketing department of a Better Homes and Gardens' affiliate office. From the very first day, I had a love for the ideals of homeownership, and I loved knowing that I had the ability to help people obtain "the American dream". I decided to use my education and my experience in marketing to transition into becoming a Realtor that same year.
In 2001, I moved to Northern Virginia and continued my sales career with a national builder. I then moved into sales management in 2004 with another national builder. Between 2004 and 2010, I served as an Area Sales Manager in Northern Virginia, covering areas from Frederick County to Stafford County.
My focus was customer service, and my goal was to create a environment of happiness for buyers and to give them a compelling reason to refer others to the company. During my time in management, our team was always in JD Power’s top five with two 1st place awards in the Northern VA, DC, and Maryland markets.
In 2007, I became Principle Broker of Centex Homes in MD, and subsequently, Principle Broker for Centex Real Estate Corporation for the State of VA. During this time, I had the opportunity to list and sell new homes, re-sell homes and land. In 2010, I joined PenFed Realty as an Associate Broker and thus transitioned into my future dream of working full-time for the buyers and sellers to obtain their dream homes.
