Bernie Wilhite

After serving 21 years as a Naval officer, Bernie began his transition into real estate.  He spent a few years as Vice President of a national real estate appraisal company, completing a number of commercial property appraisals (including his own bank building) and a few residential appraisals while assisting other appraisers in the company with their work.  In 1993, he followed his passion into residential real estate sales.  As a Realtor, he has had extensive experience in listing and selling bank foreclosure properties and especially enjoys helping first-time homebuyers through that stressful first-purchase process.  Bernie is a "hand-holder" throughout each transaction.  Having gone through many moves himself, Bernie can appreciate the anxiety associated with both local and relocation moves.  With listings, he is especially strong with his marketing program which helps him stand above his peers.

Bernie has lived in Alexandria, VA, since 1983 and has a strong grasp of the Northern Virginia market.  He loves to share the evolution of the real estate market in the area and helps put clients at ease with their location decisions.
